Data protection

We welcome you to our website and appreciate your interest in our company. In order to give you a good feeling with regard to the handling of your personal data, we make transparent what happens with your data and which security measures we take. Moreover, we inform you on your statutory rights in connection with the processing of these data.

Personal data

When visiting our website, we basically do not need any personal data from you. Only information on the name of your Internet provider and on websites which you load via our website are acknowledged by us. In this case, you stay anonymous as Internet user, since we evaluate this information for statistical purposes only (e.g. number of loadings of the individual websites).

Personal data are only collected if you provide us with such data by yourself, for example, within the scope of an order.

Use and disclosure of personal data/specification of purpose

Any personal-related data which we obtain from you in the course of your using our website will only be collected, processed and used for the indicated purpose. Thereby, we take care that this happens only within the scope of the respective applicable laws and only with your permission.

Right to information

Upon request, we may inform you in writing whether and which personal data about you have been collected.

Links to other providers

Our website also contains links to homepages of other companies, the links being clearly identified.

If there are any links to other websites, we do not have any influence on their contents. Therefore, we do not assume any guarantee or liability for their contents. For the contents of such pages, the respective provider or operator of these pages is responsible. The linked pages are checked at the time of linking as to possible legal infringements or identifiable violations of rights. Unlawful contents were not identified at the time of linking. A permanent control of the contents of the linked pages, however, is not reasonable without specific reasons that hint to violations of rights. If any violation of right becomes known, the respective link will be immediately deleted.

Safety principles

In order to protect the data of our employees/customers/suppliers from incidental or deliberate manipulations, loss, destruction or the access of unauthorised persons, we have taken corresponding technical and organisational measures. The safety levels will be permanently examined in collaboration with our safety experts and adapted to new safety standards.

Note on web analysis tools

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Remarketing, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google“). Google Analytics uses “cookies“, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Since IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will truncate your IP address at the time of collection, i.e. already before the transmission. This applies within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the whole IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use. Google may transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process these data on behalf of Google. Furthermore, third-party suppliers as well as Google use the cookies stored on your computer to specifically place adverts based on the sites previously visited by the user. The IP address that your browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Furthermore, you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.

You can refuse the use of Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set on the computer, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website: Disable Google Analytics

Further information concerning the terms and conditions of use and data privacy can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/en_uk/policies/. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics code is supplemented by “anonymizeIp” to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking).

PIWIK

Our website uses Piwik, a so-called web analysis service. Piwik uses cookies by means of which the information on usage collected (including your abbreviated IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for analytical purposes, which helps us to optimise our website. During this process your IP address is immediately made anonymous, so that you, as a user, also remain anonymous.

If you do not consent to the data from your visit being stored and analysed, you can prevent storage and use of that data at any time with a simple click of the mouse. In this case a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, as a result of which Piwik will not collect any session data. Warning: If you delete your cookies this will also result in the opt-out cookie being deleted and you will need to reactivate it if necessary.

Piwik uses the GeoLite2 database from the company MaxMind. Further information and download available from http://www.maxmind.com
